Obviously this Tumbler page is dedicated to Harry Potter and his fans.
But other random stuff might show up; depends how I feel really.
Do you like low-quality videos? If so, you’re in luck.
Potterlock
And yes, Sherlock and John can see the Knight Bus. Because they are magical.
in 7 years its going to be the 20s again so we can bring back swing music and the aesthetics of that era but keep modern values who’s with me
you can’t repeat the past
can’t repeat the past? why, of course you can! of course you can.
So are we going to have a crippling depression at the end of the 20’s in October of 2029, thus causing 1 in 3 Americans to be out of work? Will there be a dictator in a country to the East who wants to take over the world?
Or am I just being over dramatic? I haven’t slept in two days!
#steve is like what #someone’s playing galaga #wait i don’t know what galaga is #shit what if it’s important #is it a sport #is it a band #is it a board game #like monopoly #(thank god they still have monopoly) #god i’d better just look #it’s behind me isn’t it #there is nothing behind me #GOSH DARN IT 21ST CENTURY
I like how many parts of the movie you realize Thor, Steve, and Loki really do not know what the fuck is going on.
I just want a movie with Thor, Steve and Loki attempting to figure out this century. LIke, no action, no adventure, no explosions. Just wifi.
And then every so often Tony shows up and just rolls his eyes as Loki screams at the toaster, demanding for it to surrender his breakfast.
You guys really just want an Avengers sitcom, don’t you
God, yes
And then Tony is trying to teach Thor how to use a computer and every time he tells him to open a new window, Thor literally runs to the nearest window and opens it.
Could we possibly have Steve’s reaction to Glee? Like someone tries to explain shipping to him and he just has the most adorable blank look on his face.
When people turn to fictional characters, it’s often because they want an escape. The stories of these people shelter us from the storm of our daily lives; they save us, if only for a little while. But when we really give in, become invested, let ourselves be vulnerable, something changes. We begin to feel that we know them. It’s no longer just an escape, but part of us, something that makes us who we are.
These characters teach us that incredible adversity can be overcome. That people can love each other forever. That life can be an adventure. That magic can be real. And even if these miracles have never happened to us, we begin to go through life believing that, someday, they could.
“And I promise you that you’re important. Don’t look at me like that- in all my 900 years I’ve never met someone who wasn’t important.”
“Cheer up mate, it gets better. Look at me, I was once a little kid living under the stairs. You’ll do fine.”
“Hey. I know it seems like life sucks, that you’ve got the devil on your tail. Hell, sometimes you do. But you’re strong enough to beat him. You’ve got friends at your back and family too, and that’s what really counts in the end.”
“Don’t be silly, they’re wrong about you; of course you matter. You’ve always mattered.”
WOW CONGRATS YOU JUST MADE ME CRY OVER MY OWN POST
My room mate is looking at me oddly as I squeal over Harry, the Doctor and Sherlock. I haven’t gotten into Supernatural yet (sorry not sorry).
And now I’m picturing what else the characters might say.
“Would you like to join me on an adventure?”
“You can do it. In fact, we’ll do it together!”
“Slightly stubborn with a willful streak. If applied in the right manner, you’ll go far in life unlike Anderson who has succeeded in only lowering the IQ of the whole city block whenever he speaks.”
And I can’t tell if that’s Sam or Dean so no quote for him (also, why are all the characters boys? Come on! Where’s Ginny? Rose? Mrs. Hudson (who in my Headcannon kicked some major ASS when she was younger)? I get that it’s the characters who are most recognizable but people are drawn to both the girls and the boys)
Oh, Lumos!
